GLYCO-A Medium Peeling 12% Night Cream offers an at-home cosmetic peel to help improve skin texture, reduce blemishes, control excess oil, and minimize signs of aging using a high concentration of glycolic acid. This night cream provides the benefits of a superficial professional peel safely at home with an optimal concentration of 12% glycolic acid. It is formulated for individuals with dull complexions, enlarged pores, excess sebum, and the first signs of aging. The product has a pH of 3, balancing skin tolerance with effectiveness.

The primary active ingredient is 12% Glycolic Acid (an Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, or AHA). The formula features a short list of only nine components designed to ensure the effective action of the glycolic acid, while also containing moisturizing and soothing agents to minimize irritation. 

Ø  Key Ingredients: Aqua (Water), GLYCOLIC ACID, CETYL ALCOHOL, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM (Mineral OIL), CETETH-20, STEARETH-20, AMMONIA, PALMITIC ACID, STEARIC ACID. 

Usage Instructions of GLYCO-A Medium Peeling 12%:

This product is a night treatment and should only be used in the evening. 

Ø  Cleanse: Thoroughly cleanse and dry the face before application.

Ø  Apply: Apply a thin layer of cream to the entire face and neck, gently massaging it into the skin. Avoid the eye contour area, mouth, and nose.

Ø  Leave On: The cream is designed to be a leave-on overnight treatment and does not require rinsing. However, if discomfort occurs, it can be rinsed off with cool water after at least 30 minutes to still benefit from the AHAs.

Ø  Frequency: Start with an application 2 or 3 times a week, and adjust frequency based on skin tolerance.

Ø  Sun Protection (Crucial): Glycolic acid increases sun sensitivity. It is essential to apply a high-factor, broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning during the treatment period and for up to a week after discontinuing use. 

Side Effects of GLYCO-A Medium Peeling 12%:

A slight tingling sensation is a normal, temporary reaction to the AHAs and typically subsides within a few minutes. 

Ø  Common Side Effects: Dryness, redness (erythema), mild burning, stinging sensation, itching, irritation, or peeling.

Ø  Contraindications:

v  Do not apply to sensitive, sensitized, irritated, or sunburned skin.

v  Avoid using multiple types of exfoliation (chemical or mechanical scrubs) at the same time.

v  Do not apply within 72 hours after hair removal.

v  Not recommended for individuals with active eczema or rosacea.

v  Perform a patch test inside the elbow 24 hours before the first full application to check for allergic reactions.

v  Consult a doctor if pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

v  Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning booths while using this product.
