Dermazole Cream is a topical antifungal medication used to treat various fungal and yeast infections of the skin. It works by killing the fungus and preventing its growth.Dermazole Cream is an external-use medicine with the primary active ingredient Ketoconazole 2%, often combined with Aloe Vera extract. Ketoconazole belongs to the imidazole class of antifungal agents. The cream formulation is quickly absorbed and designed for topical application to the affected skin and surrounding areas.

Ingredients of Dermazole Cream:

The primary active ingredient is Ketoconazole. Some formulations may also contain additional ingredients: 

Ø  Active Ingredient: Ketoconazole IP 2%

Ø  Other Ingredients (may vary by product): Aloe Vera Extract, propylene glycol, cetyl alcohol, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, butylated hydroxytoluene, imidurea, etc. 

Usage Instructions of Dermazole Cream:

This medicine is for external use only. 

Ø  Clean and Dry: Wash and thoroughly dry the affected area of the skin before application.

Ø  Application: Apply a thin layer of the cream to the infected area and the immediate surrounding skin, usually once or twice a day, or as directed by a doctor.

Ø  Wash Hands: Wash your hands carefully before and after applying the cream to avoid spreading the infection, unless your hands are the area being treated.

Ø  Duration: Continue using the cream for the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms improve, to ensure the infection is fully cured and prevent recurrence. This may be several weeks depending on the infection type.

Ø  Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings like bandages unless advised by a doctor. 

Side Effects of Dermazole Cream:

Most side effects do not require medical attention and usually subside as the body adjusts to the medicine. The most common side effects are application site reactions.
