C-Mite Soap, is an external-use prescription medication that belongs to the class of medicines known as pyrethrins. It is a potent solution for skin conditions caused by parasitic infestations, offering relief from associated symptoms like itching, swelling, and redness. The soap is intended for proper application as directed by a physician and is an important component of a comprehensive treatment plan that often includes disinfecting clothing and bedding.

Ingredients of C-Mite Soap:

C-Mite Soap 75gm contains a combination of active ingredients: 

Ø  Permethrin (1% w/w): An antiparasitic agent that kills the insects (mites and lice) by disrupting their nervous systems.

Ø  Cetrimide (0.5% w/w): An antiseptic agent with antibacterial properties that helps prevent infection.

Ø  Aloe Vera (2% w/w): Known for its soothing and healing properties, it helps calm skin irritation and inflammation.

Ø  Soap Noodles and Colour (Titanium Dioxide): Inactive ingredients used to form the soap bar. 

Usage Instruction of C-Mite Soap:

Ø  For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth; rinse immediately with water if accidental contact occurs.

Ø  The soap should be applied to clean, dry, and cool skin, typically from the neck down to the toes. For young children (below 2 years old), it may also be applied to the scalp, face, and ears, avoiding the immediate eye and mouth area.

Ø  Leave the lather on the body for 8 to 14 hours before washing it off thoroughly with water.

Ø  A single application is often sufficient, but a second application may be needed after 7 days if live lice or mites are still present.

Ø  To prevent re-infestation, wash all clothing, towels, and bedding in hot water or dry clean them after the first treatment. All household members and sexual contacts may also need concurrent treatment. 

Side Effects of C-Mite Soap:
